Welcome to the CHACCRA website. These Terms and Conditions of Trading (‘Agreement’) apply to all online sales between CHACCRA International Limited and our subcontractors (‘us/we/our’) and the Customer (‘you/your’) regarding all sales of services and goods.

By using this website, you agree to follow to following rules stated below. If in any circumstance you do not agree with any of our Terms and Conditions, please discontinue to use the website in any way.

We, at CHACCRA International Limited reserve the right to modify our terms at any time without prior notification. The onus is on you, the user of this website: www.chaccra.com to check for updates and alterations and to abide by them. Any use of our website at anytime results in our assumption that you are in full acceptance of our terms and conditions in their entirety.

Using our content and restrictions 

All content including video, photography, design and audio featured on the CHACCRA website subject to copyright protections and/or other intellectual property right held by CHACCRA International Limited. All content on this site is intended for the non-commercial, personal use of the users of our website.

Placing an order

By placing an order with CHACCRA you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to the full Terms and Conditions found on this page. If you are unhappy with or unclear about any aspect of these terms, please contact us before placing an order - by email or by phone: +86 156 1890 8863, please be aware that international calls will be charged at the standard international calls rates applied by the country you are calling from.

By placing an order via our website: chaccra.com you are making an offer to CHACCRA International Limited to purchase the goods detailed in your order upon the terms described in your order. Once you have placed an order we will send you a confirmation that your order has been received. However this is not a confirmation that your order has been accepted. A contract between you and CHACCRA International Limited will only exist once we have confirmed that your order has been accepted and processed, which we will do so via an order receipt sent to your allocated email address.

Shipping and delivery

Dates quoted for delivery are estimated dates only and may be subject to change. If your order becomes damaged or lost (whether direct or indirect) outside of the estimated delivery time we cannot accept any liability.

Once your order(s) are produced and finished we will send you a notification of completion and we will endeavour to send your order that day.

Shipping to a different delivery address

We are happy to accommodate you if decide to arrange a delivery to an address that is different from the one stated on your credit or debit card bill. However if it the first time you have purchased from CHACCRA we may contact you to verify your order to ensure your details are not being used fraudulently.

Product description

Throughout our website and product listings we endeavour to ensure that all our descriptions and specifications are correct and inline with the described product. However due to the nature of handmade products and the use of natural resources customers must expect on occasions, some slight differences which we cannot be held liable for. All our Tibetan rugs are handmade which means they can differ in size up to 10cm and we use specialist Swiss dyes for accuracy, however colours can vary slightly from piece to piece. If you have any questions regarding this please don’t hesitate to get in touch via our contact page.

Furthermore we cannot be held accountable for colour variations caused by your computer system or browser software.

Title and Risk

In reference to all products sold by CHACCRA, until we have received payment in full for such products we retain ownership of said products.

Prices and availability

Due to shifting market prices and the cost of raw materials we reserve the right to alter the prices of our products without notice. Furthermore, due to the nature of our business, that nurtures small-batch production lines and one-off creations, all our pieces are subject to availability and may alter in quantity at different times in the year. If you place an order on one or more products that are out of stock, we will notify you via email to alert you of the situation and then, if applicable, will offer to split your order at an additional charge for separate delivery of in and out of stock products in your order, to be delivered on different dates.

Complaints Procedure

Please contact us on support@chaccra.com if you have any queries or complaints regarding any products purchased in relation to CHACCRA. If you are pursuing an internal complaint and feel unsatisfied with the outcome, you can contact the Hong Kong Trading Complaints Board here

Returns policy

Damaged in transit

If the shipping company damages your purchase during transit, please refuse the delivery and notify us as soon as possible with supporting photographs and descriptions of the damage.

If you don’t notice the damage before accepting the delivery please notify us within two working days with supporting photographs and descriptions.

If you choose to elect one of our shipping partners to deliver your order we will pursue the shipping company, however if you have chosen to ship using your own shipping company, the responsibility is yours but we will support in anyway we can.

A manufacturing fault

If you receive your purchase and notice a manufacturing fault which includes incorrect design, colour, size, thickness or materials please contact us within two working days of you receiving your delivery and we will work with you to resolve the issue and organise the return of your purchase.

When we are not liable to accept returns

With any handmade products you should expect slight variations in size and colour.

For our rugs, sizes can vary by 3% and should be planned for.

Shedding is expected from our woollen products, is completely normal and is not a reason to return your purchase. Store and display all your woollen items in a dry place to avoid warping and damage.

We are a small business and pride ourselves on our personalised customer service so if something goes wrong don’t panic, we will work with you to get to the bottom of and resolve any issues regarding your order. Simply email support@chaccra.com.

Force Majeure

Our performance of any part of a contract with you is subject to variation or cancellation and the grant of an extension of time from any cause arising from an act of God, war, strikes, lock-outs, flood, drought or other cause of any nature whatsoever beyond our control or owing to inability and time to procure materials, labour or any articles at all and you agree to accept increased prices for the products due to any of the aforesaid reasons. In all circumstances time is not of the essence of the contract. 

Data Protection

CHACCRA is a registered data controller in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 (‘the Act’). We process your personal data in accordance with the Act.

We understand that it can sometimes worry people when submitting their personal details online, especially financial details like credit/debit card numbers. However we would like to reassure you that you when you shop at CHACCRA all your details are kept safe.

Rights of Third Parties

For the purpose of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999, this Agreement does not and is not intended to give any rights, or any right to enforce any of its provisions, to any person who is not a party to it.

Applicable Law

We own, control and operate the CHACCRA website from our offices in Hong Kong: Rm 2105 Trend CTR29-31 Chueng Lee Street, Chai Wan, Hong Kong.

We own, control and operate the website from our offices within Hong Kong. Accordingly the laws of Hong Kong govern claims relating to, including the use of the web site and the materials contained therein. If you choose to access our website from outside Hong Kong you do so on your own initiative and you hereby agree that in the event of a dispute between CHACCRA International Limited and you the laws of Hong Kong will apply at all times.
